Evan came to EVREN Northwest from the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality in 2015. His primary responsibility is coordinating Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (PIIESAs), communicating extensively with regulatory agencies, clients, and contractors to ensure projects are successful. He has experience with investigations of various media, including surface/subsurface soil, surface/ground water, soil vapor, indoor air, radon, and hazardous materials, such as lead paint, asbestos and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). He is also involved with the installation, oversight, and maintenance of various long-term monitoring and mitigation systems including those for ground water monitoring, product recovery, sub-slab depressurization (SSD), soil vapor extraction (SVE), and radon mitigation.
Aside from PIIESAs, Evan has experience writing and implementing Contaminated Media Management Plans (CMMPs), Storm Water Pollution Control Plans (SWPCPs), and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) plans for various systems.
Outside of work, Evan likes to spend time outdoors, whether it be camper van trips around the Pacific Northwest, drinks on sunny patios, or working in the garden.
